Dr. Michelle Dotsch For Edmonds

City Council Pos. 4

Hello, and welcome! I’m Dr. Michelle Dotsch, an Edmonds native and retired family dentist. I’m running for Edmonds City Council because I care deeply about the future of this unique and beautiful place by the shores of Puget Sound that we call home.

My guiding objectives as a Councilmember will be ensuring safe, clean neighborhoods, especially around the Highway 99 Corridor; fiscal responsibility that respects people’s hard-earned dollars; responsible growth and development policies; and protection of our bountiful natural environment and small-town charm.

As your next Councilmember, I pledge to work collaboratively, continue to seek out and listen to all voices around local issues, and to work for a more responsive and candid government – one that allows access, scrutiny, and is answerable to the public. I am about good policy, not politics. I humbly ask for your vote to serve you.Michelle Signature

"Dotsch...with a dentist’s chair-side manner, should be best able to relate to city residents, representing their concerns and explaining an issue’s circumstances to the public. Dotsch deserves election to the council."

About Me

Growing up in Edmonds, I knew I wanted to come back to live in this wonderful community after finishing my education. I graduated from the U.W. with a degree in dentistry and practiced with my father in his dental practice in Shoreline, just over the Edmonds’ city limits. I met my husband, Dr. Jay Hoag, in dental school and we practiced side-by-side for 25 years. We have lived for 23 years in the Five Corners area neighborhood of Edmonds.
